Rates, Terms, and Conditions
Currency:
The official currency for these rates is U.S. dollars.
Reservations:
To qualify for these rates, a reservation must be placed with Avis at
least 24 hours prior to departure from home country.
Rental Period:
The minimum charge period is indicated for each rate.
Minimum/Maximum:
23/80 years
Standard Qualification:
Avis and Avis licenses reserve the right to refuse any request for rental
including requests for persons under age, persons not in possession
of a recognized full and valid driver's license, persons unable to satisfy
credit card requirements, or persons who, in the opinion of Avis, constitute
a risk.
Mileage/Kms Charge:
Rates shown include unlimited free miles/kilometers.
Renter's Liability:
Rental rates include automobile liability insurance in accordance with
applicable laws and terms of the rental agreement.
Discounts:
Discounts or other promotions may apply.
Rate Policy:
Rates are fixed and not tranferable. All rates must stay within policy
guidelines.
Prepayment Methods:
The rental charges must be prepaid prior to departure, using an Avis
or Avis accepted travel voucher.
Final Settlement Methods:
An Avis honored credit card will be required at time of check-out for
any charges that are not included in the rate (e.g. gasoline, Loss Damage
Waiver, Personal Accident Insurance, one way service fees, insurance
deductible and taxes).
Vehicle Types:
Vehicle types are given as examples. We reserve the right to vary type
of vehicle without notice but will make every effort to honor specific
model requests.
Participating Locations:
All Avis locations on Bonaire.
Driving License Requirements:
Valid drivers license of country of origin.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES - Rates do not include the following:
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW):
In the event of collision, theft, vandalism or loss, the renter will
be required to pay all cost toward repair of the vehicle. This requirement
will be waived to NaFl 1000.00 if the renter elects to purchase the
Loss Damage Waiver. The renter will be responsible for the full cost
of the damage if the car is driven in violation of the rental agreement,
is abused or driven recklessly or while under the influence of alcohol
or drugs.
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI):
Not available.
Additional Driver(s):
U.S. $10 per person, per rental.
Refueling Service:
A refueling service charge will be incurred if a car is returned with
less fuel than when rented.
Additional Government Surcharge
Car Rental Tax:
NaFl 6.00 per day. Subject to change without
notice.
Government Tax NOAB:
5% Sales Tax, subject to change without notice.
Additional Days/Hours:
Additional days and/or hours will be charged at a higher rate.
All reservations will require a credit card for confirmation. U.S. $75 no show fee will apply to all reservations if not cancelled 48 in advance.
